The end of July, as we know it

I am spending my weekend unpacking, which isn’t the best way to celebrate the end of July. But I am so eager for the start of August! August brings about a new home, possible new job, The Sleepers at The Double Door, my birthday (or more so my BIRTHDAY EXTRAVAGANZA!), an afternoon appointment with a private chef, sky diving, the start of dance classes, and The Gipsy Kings. And I am keeping my fingers crossed for Murry to come back through town, for Jem to reschedule her Park West show, for Zelienople to rock my ears deaf yet again, and for Brian C. to finally send me a mix tape so I have some new tunes to listen to.

Does anybody have the new Coldplay album? Murry and I were talking about this latest song and we are both digging it. I need to find a good used record shop in this city. Why can’t Amoeba open up in Chicago?!?!

Thank you Mista Funke for fixing my blog. You're a rock star.

The coffee and soda combination has finally kicked in, and I am so wired right now. Only 2 ½ more hours to go…
