Olivia: So we've decided to try to eat more local, organic food in 2009.
Lance: Really, did we decide that or did you decide that and Chris is going along with it?
Olivia: Well I guess I suggested it and he said yes. *smiles*
Lance: That's what I thought. That didn't sound like a we idea. *grins*
Olivia: *grins* Yeah, so I've switched to organic milk and butter. And organic coffee.
Lance: Oh man! You're one of THOSE people, aren't you!
Lance: You're totally going to buy a goat.
Olivia: No I'm not!
Olivia: (to herself) Hmmm...buy a goat...

I for one am all for the goat idea. I think he'd make a great playmate for Fred and Pua. Plus we wouldn't need a compost, we'd just feed all organic things to the goat.
In the long run the goat will only save us money.
Step 1: Buy Goat
Step 3: Profit!
you realize if we do buy a goat, though, it will have to sleep on the bed with us along with every other animal we own.
Other positives for the goat:
1. Easy to housebreak and train to pull carts (per Wikipedia).
2. Pua's sad-sick meow won't be as annoying because you now have goat noises that are more annoying (or may AS annoying - pua's pretty bad).
3. If all else fails - glue!
