More photos of my garden goodness! It's August so my Roma Tomatoes are bursting at the seams with juice and my basil plant is ginormous.
I picked a bunch of basil last weekend and whipped up some pesto, which I then froze for use later in the winter months. But I couldn't help snagging a few leaves for a Caprese Salad lunch. Reminds me of being in Italy on my honeymoon. :)
Slice up that tomato, some fresh mozzarella, a leaf of basil, drizzle with EVOO, sprinkle on some salt and pepper and serve! YUM!!!
