Richie and I went to the Art Institute on Saturday, to take in some culture. What a beautiful way to spend a bleak, February afternoon. (and finally i am able to cross this off of my New Year's Resolution list. yeah!!)

I'd forgotten how much I love the Art Institute. That Renoir picture (Two Sisters) is Pete's favorite.
It looks like it's also a Renoir. I did some searching and it is. It's called "Woman at the Piano". Renoir and I share a birthday, just so you know. :)

it was really cool and we only saw one little section. I will definitely want to go back!
i loved the painting with the woman playing the piano. i don't even know who it's by but i can just look at that for hours! :)
