I was having a discussion last night with a friend of mine, Lee, about the idea of 'nerd-hot' people. We were able to easily name many women who we would deem 'nerd-hot': Natalie Portman, Cindy Crawford, Gina Davis, etc. Yet after much brainstorming, I was unable to think up any famous men whom I believe fall under the category of nerd-hot.
So, my readers, I am asking you to help me brainstorm a list. I want names of famous men who are sexier because of their intelligence.

My favorite is Leonardo DiCaprio. I love how he's so into environmental issues. You've got to give it up for any rich guy who drives a Prius!
Steven Colbert - smart, dorky attractive. And he's funny.
Anderson Cooper - hotter because he's brainy!
Chris Martin - I'm not a huge Coldplay fan, but he's passionate about free trade, PLUS he's got musical talent. What's not hot about that?
Matt Damon - went to Harvard. Wrote Good Will Hunting. Amazing actor. Hot.
And then there's John Krasinski, who, quite honestly, I'm surprised you didn't mention. Dorky hot, funny, tall, and I'm guessing smart.
Oh, you left Jody Foster off your girl list. And Sharon Stone is really smart, but I think the crazy cancels out the hot.
I did remember John but I didn't want to talk up my boyfriend. :)

i mean technically I'm not famous, but I've got the nerd part down and while I've never received confirmation from an actual female about this, I always thought I was pretty hot...like, the other day I was looking in the mirror and i said, "Wow Josh...you are so hot. The way your pocket protector fits into that front pocket really accentuates your shoulder hair and makes you irresistable. And that's so incredibly hot that you still play connect four by yourself at age 28. So incredibly hot." Again...I've never heard those words from a female, but I just assume that's what they're all saying when they walk past me. Ladies...am I right? Ladies?...Anyone?...Bueller?

I almost said about Anderson Cooper, "even though he may be gay..." but I decided against it. Besides, gay men can still be hot!
And I almost put Jake Gyllenhaal (who is hosting SNL tomorrow) on my list, but I thought he was WAY too hot to even qualify as nerdy.
