Right before Christmas, I wrote a quick note asking for prayers for my friend Jenn. She found her mom on the floor, just a few days before Christmas. We later learned her mom had a massive stroke and had lost the ability to speak, swallow, move, etc. It was pretty grim.
Jenn and her sister decided yesterday to move their mom to a hospice facility. By doing so they are also removing her feeding tube and taking her off the medication. The doctors think it will be about a week or two until she passes away.
I can't imagine how difficult that decision must have been as well as how overwhelmingly sad Jenn and her sister must be. I ask that you continue keeping them in your prayers over the next couple of weeks. I believe they could use all the strength they can get and I firmly believe that the power of pray can be felt by others.
