Lollapalooza: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Last but not least we have pics of the final set, Red Hot Chili Peppers. Travis and I only stayed for about 30 minutes of this set. We both got bored pretty fast but it was long enough to hear the only song I like on their new, double-disc as well the song "Scar Tissue".
Here's the weekend in a nutshell:
The Good - all the volunteers (you guys are awesome, thank you so much for all you did), The Raconteurs, The Raconteurs cover of "Crazy", Broken Social Scene, Gnarles Barkley, hanging with my friends, the weather, running into everyone i wanted to see and not into anyone i didn't want to see, and the wristband that was rigged for Travis so he could get into the park on Sunday.
The Bad - Wilco's set (not that impressed, and he was dressed like a leprachaun), my choice of SPF on Friday (sunburn is almost gone), all the people that wore t-shirts for the bands they were seeing that day (watch "PCU" and learn your lesson), the Red Hot Chili Peppers (zzzz....) and the line for beer.
The Ugly - the chick who was wearing high heels on Friday, how everyone smelled on the L ride home each night, the lady who brought her newborn child and was sitting under the speakers (that is not wise for good eardrum development), and everyone smoking pot right next to where i stood (you're stinking up my air).

all in all, amazing weekend.

See, if you're a sports fan and not a big concertgoer, you wouldn't know the t-shirt rule. You absolutly must wear the shirt, jersey, hat, etc. of your team when you go to games. So wouldn't it just make sense that you would support your band of choice by wearing their gear? And don't get me wrong...I know that both rules exist. I'm just trying to defend the concert-challenged out there.

As for the high heels and the stinkiness, there is no excuse.
