A Million Little Pieces

I started reading this book last night and could not put it down. Laine gave it to me as part of my Christmas present, and I can not believe how powerful of a book it is. It is a difficult read at first, some of the sentences were so graphic they made me sick to my stomach, but this book is a brutal and honest portrayal of drug and alcohol addiction. Thanks Laine for the great book!!

Now, I feel I need to explain one small side effect of reading this book. It honestly makes you feel sick to your stomach, to the point of your gag reflexes kick in.
I am having to proceed sentence by sentence. I read a sentence, then i have to look away and focus on anything else besides what I am reading. After a couple of seconds, I return my attention back to the next sentence.
So for those who are thinking of reading this book, please keep that in mind if you have a weak stomach.
