I head to California tomorrow and I am so excited! I am really looking forward to seeing my friends and going to my old church on Sunday. I'm a little nervous that it might trigger some homesick feelings, all over again. But just to hang with Karla, Aaron, and Josh...well, it will be worth it.

i guess i have different meanings of home...
iowa is home because that is where my family is, and family is always home.
l.a. is home because that is where i grew into myself
chicago is home, because that is where i am planting roots
