Nobody Move Nobody Gets Hurt

Jimmy, Amy, Alex, Kurt and I went to the We Are Scientists concert last night. I took a lot of photos, but realized this morning that I left the cord (which will allow me to download the photos onto my computer) at home. So after work tonight I will get my photos up on this blog. In the meantime, I've copied photos from their website.
It was a kick ass show! We all agreed with Jimmy that the lead singer looks like Adrian Brody. But there was incredible energy and sound through the whole set. And I loved the friendly, funny banter that occurred between songs.
I am super tired today though. I am so tired that I am having a Pepsi for breakfast.

Hot Rod

The other day, this car (which was parked outside Kurt's front door) exploded in the middle of the night. Kurt took photos the next morning of the scorched car. Crazy!

Knock Knock

This weekend, Kurt and I had tickets to Chicago's Sketch Comedy Festival. We saw the troupe from Toronto, "Knock Knock, Who's There? Comedy!"
They had gotten a great review in this week's Chicago Time Out, but we did not find it funny. At all. And I felt really bad because we were in the front row, right in the center, and I couldn't even fake a laugh!
Josh, think Clown Play only less funny.

Tonight we have tickets to the We Are Scientists concert, now that should be awesome! Photos will be up tomorrow!

Kurt's Getting a Haircut

I think he's decided on this look. Hott!!

Rock the Vote

Last night, Kurt and I realized it's just a matter of time before the paparazzi catch on to our relationship. We have observed how the photogs have treated Bennifer (Lopez), TomKat, and Bennifer (Gardner). So we felt it best to be proactive about the unavoidable future.

Therefore, we are offering up a poll. We would like to know what name you think best suites us. Now remember, t-shirts will be made of this, late night talk show hosts will refer to us with this, and this will be plastered all over every glossy magazine currently in print. Here are the options

A. Kuvia

B. Kurvia

C. McCacker

D. Pennycain

We are open to other suggestions, if you have them. Please leave a comment with your vote. Votes will be tallied at the end of the business day.

Thanks!

Spiderman!

Here is a photo of my nephew, Gavin.
Here are some statistics I received from my sister:
The tricycle he got last year (from Uncle Bud) he has never ridden.
The book I gave him, "Where the Sidewalk Ends", he reads all the time.

I win. I am the best Aunt!!

Team Aniston

Jolie annouced that she is pregnant. WTF?!? You can not tell me that these two weren't fooling around while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston. I don't buy it for a second! I don't care if she adopts all of Africa, I am totally Team Aniston!!

Pomegranate Tequila

Erin brought back hand-blown shotglasses and pomegranate tequila, from Mexico. Ole!

And then late into the night, we had a contest to see who could listen to the song "Jump" by The Pointer Sisters, and not move a muscle. No dancing, no toe-tapping, no singing. Kurt won. I lost.

We spent Saturday morning plant shopping. I bought a Lipstick Ivy, a Wandering Jew, and a Rex Bagonia.

R&R at a B&B

Murry and Grey's bed and breakfast has opened for business! It is called "Bayou Amulet" and it's located in Natchitoches, LA (right across the street from the house in "Steel Magnolias"). It looks great guys! I hope you are enjoying Hawaii and I can't wait to see you when you travel through Chicago again.

This Posting is for Karla's Friend, B.J.

When your husband, Matt, was driving me to LAX, last month, we were chatting about music. And there is a local Chicago band that I really think he should check out. Now I want to mail him their cd. Can you give Karla your address, then she can forward it to me, so I can send it out?

It's really wierd sending messages via blog.
Seacrest, Out!

Pink is the New Blog

Ok, on the right of your screen is a new link for "Pink is the New Blog". It is the funniest blog I have ever read. It is purely about celebrity gossip and trash talk, and I love it! So please, take a moment to read today's blog entry...it is well worth the time!
And a million thanks goes out to Jen for sending me this awesome link.

The Dude Ranch

I couldn't resist.
Here is my friend Brian, at The Dude Ranch, over NYE. This photo was taken right before he ended up in a hot tub with his jeans on.
Classic.

Now, seriously, was there a goat?
