I am debating whether or not I should continue blogging. I enjoy maintaining the blog, especially when I get to update with photos, but I'm beginning to feel that the reason I began blogging is no longer valid.
I began my blog so I could keep in contact with my friends around the country (Sadia in San Fran, Laine in Houston, Juli in NY, my friends in L.A., and my family in Iowa), but I am beginning to feel that more strangers, or at least people I don't want contact with, are reading my blog.
So what to do?
While I continue mulling this over, and I would appreciate your feedback if you have any, I do have a small request. My grandma had open heart surgery last week and at first the doctor's said the surgery went well, but I got word yesterday that she's grown pretty weak. Her heart actually stopped yesterday but they got it going again. And she's bleeding internally, somewhere (they don't know where the bleed is but I'm assuming it's her heart). On Saturday she needed one transfusion, which isn't too bad, but yesterday she needed two. Which means not only is bleeding continuing but it sounds like it's getting worse.
So if you wouldn't mind keeping her in your thoughts, I would appreciate it. And while you're at it, maybe keep my step-dad in your thoughts too. I am sure this is hard on him.
Thanks y'all!

You know my answer. Keep blogging! I understand how you feel, though. It is a little creepy to think that people that you don't know (or have purposefully cut out of your life) are reading all about you.
I'll be praying for your grandma, as well as the rest of your family. Let me know if you have any updates.
thanks, Joy. :)

I enjoy reading your blog (especially when i'm part of it-hehe). But i understand the creep factor. We talked about this the other day...maybe consider moving it to myspace. That way you can make it so that only your friends can read it. I'm sorry about your grandma, i miss mine so much, i couldn't imagine if she was sick :( Your grandma is in my prayers.
Please keep blogging. I love having a portal into your life - and you have a great way of reaching out and connecting to us (your readers - well, at least, me!) in your blog. I love it.
And i promise i'll get on myspace soon. I promise.
Sorry about your grandmother, Olivia. That is very difficult.
thanks karla. :)
i love you!
