Season Finale

OK, who watched the season finale of Grey's Anatomy last night? Holy crap. Here's my thoughts:
1)it's really sad that the dog died
2)my respect for McDreamy and Meredith went totally down the drain. I can not believe they had sex at the Prom. They both are whores.
3)I'm really sad that Denny died, he was one of my favorite characters. Although being that he is this rugged, mountain-man looking guy, I think he would have been better named "Mitch" or "Rick". But, I digress...
4)I was really pissed that Christina wasn't there for Burke. He is one of the most kind, patient, loving persons on this show and she doesn't deserve him. Yeah she held his hand in the end, but he needed her help and asked for her help and she walked away. Although I love her character, she really makes me laugh, she is a lousy girlfriend.
5)I'm glad Izzy's leaving. She went nutso in this episode all cause he said "Marry me". And I'm totally a sucker for that crap but you don't kill the guy in order to save him.
6)Although I think Meredith is a whore, I bet she ends up walking away with the vet guy. Hopefully she's done with McDreamy now and can move on. And this time, keep your underpants on.

What did you guys think?

I’d like to say that I think it’s important that everyone keep their underpants on. Cheating is never any good. What I would do in my own personal life and how I handle my own situations is totally different that how I feel about this TV show. And, since this is a TV show, I can’t take it 100% seriously, I watch for entertainment purposes only. With that said, here’s my analysis of the Grey’s Anatomy Season Finale …

1. I too agree that it is really sad that the dog died. I hugged Igloo and told him I love him very much.
2. I can believe they had sex at the prom; however, the way it went down was stupid. I recall saying outloud - oh come on! You know from the last 3 or so episodes (ever since McDreamy saw Meredith w/ the Vet) that he was affected by her relations w/ another man and something inside of him shifted. Then, as the episodes went on, you realize that he’s more emotional about Meredith than he is his own wife (which is sad but important for the future of this storyline). Addison has grown on me (she's not perfect by any means), but I’m thinking she ends up going back to NY.
3. I think the whole Denny storyline was lame, in addition to his lame name. I think they took the whole thing too far – Izzy should have never crossed the line, but she did and so we move forward. I feel that this whole storyline had a lot of potential, but instead lost something along the way and ended up being weak and overdone. I hate to say it, but I was actually hoping that Denny would die so that this storyline would go away. I know this is terrible way to think, but again, it's a TV show.
4. I think Christina’s character is really evolving. I like her, she makes me laugh (I wish I could say some of the things that she does in the workplace), so I’m really interested to see where they lead this storyline, especially w/ Burke. I really like Burke’s character so I hope they work things out (I was so glad that everything w/ the surgery turned out okay and that his relationship w/ McDreamy improved). Yes, Christina has been a lousy girlfriend, but no one is perfect and she’s learning to love and that takes time. We know that she has commitment issues; it’s been dealt with in other episodes, so it’ll be interesting to see if they stay together or break up. She was mentioning breaking up w/ him in the beginning of the season finale, so maybe that’s a precursor for what’s to come.
5. I think the whole Izzy going nutso thing was overdramatic. I was more embarrassed for her than anything. I hope she doesn’t come back, but something tells me that she will. Maybe she’ll be a nurse instead of a surgeon or something along those lines. I have a funny feeling something more will come of her and Alex.
6. In regards to Meredith, I think she will end up w/ McDreamy. I’d love for her to walk away from McDreamy and be with the Vet, but the sexual chemistry and the emotional baggage is way too intense, which leads me to believe that down the line she’ll be w/ McDreamy. I don’t see Meredith as strong (and mentally sound) enough to walk away from McDreamy and I don’t see the Vet as temptation enough for her to go. Plus, it makes for an emotional storyline so why the hell not.
7. I’m adding to this list b/c I just remembered the “I Love You” moment between George and Cali. I think they are cute! She totally wants to dominate him, but deep down inside she’s soft, venerable and lovely. I like how she started reaching out to his friends. I really have no clue why he’s so hung on Meredith, but we can’t control who we love. I can’t wait for George to tell Cali that he loves her in a time that’s right for him … that is, if he can.

It will be interesting to see what the next season brings!

I just hope, next time I'm in the hospital, that the store room is being used to store ace bandages.

i also thought that the look on McDreamy's face, when he was staring at Meredith dancing with the Vet, was really freakin' creepy. I mean Cr-ee-py!

i love George and Cali too. i feel that even though she tried to reach out to his friends he very much keeps her separate, so i totally get why she's sick of reaching out to his friends. i mean, why bother if he's always going to force distance?
i mean, she asked why he didn't call and he said "something came up with my friends, i can't tell you what happened"

not cool George. here's what i predict with that: Cali will get fed up with being kept out of the picture and she will leave. Meredith will start up with McDreamy, so she will leave. Izzy will either check herself into a mental hospital or start up with Alex and then she will leave. And then George will be hanging by himself.

Oh yeah! McDreamy had some really creepy facial expressions in the Finale episode! What's w/ that? (He's still real hot, tho!)

Oh, and I think George has a cute haircut! In regards to Cali, I think she'll get fed up, leave George and then they will get back together. Introducing friends to a new significant other, especially someone outside of the normal circle of trust, can be very difficult. Yes, it gets frustrating trying, but sometimes you have to keep on keeping on. And of course this is a two way street - so if both parties aren't feeling it then it's easy to think/feel - Why bother?

Meredith can't leave (but she could try eating a cheeseburger or two)! The show is named after her family! Then again, stranger things have happened in TV dramas/sitcoms.

OH! And when the Chief of Staff's wife went off on him regarding his affair I stood up and clapped after her dialogue. It was real good - "You Go Girl"!

i didn't mean they would leave the show, i just meant they would leave the clique. other things will eventually take priority over the clique. but if george keeps putting that clique as his top priority, well then he'll be left hanging solo after awhile.

next year they are moving it to Thursday nights. interesting...

I didn't realize they are moving it to Thursday nights in the Fall. That kinda sucks. Why mess w/ a good thing ... oh that's right ... ratings and that coveted Thursday night big shot slot.
