I recently poured through the book "Traveling Mercies". I could not put it down. It is so beautifully written but so damn funny as well! I relate to her faith as it's not perfect and she admits to being flawed and human.
I am now reading "Plan B". Actually I got it on tape at the library, so I am listening to it. It's narrated by her, so her voice brings even more life to the stories. I can not recommend these books enough!!

Anne is one of my favorite's, Olivia. I really love Travelling Mercies and have been touched by her honesty and humor and depth. I'd recommend some of her novels, as well, once you finish Plan B. they read quickly and seem pretty simple, but some of the same themes show up in her fiction as in her non-fiction.
i plan on reading as much of her as possible. i haven't been this draw to an author in awhile. this will be the summer of Anne Lamott!
