On Friday night, Kurt and I took Houdini over to Hilary and Bob's place. Hilary then cooked a delicious dinner and I provided a sweet dessert. After a quick game of cribbage it was time to say goodbye to Houdini. I think she will be fine in her new home though.

i believe with lots of yummy treats, a fresh can of cat food and a bowl of cool water that houndini will be just fine. he and his little pink nose will adjust wonderfully and tho he will never forget you (and you him) you both know that this is for the best. it was a very hard thing that you did on friday and i admire that. honestly, i don't think i could ever give up a pet, but then again i'll never know that until i'm placed in those shoes.
it was hard to give up houdini, but i just focused on what i was gaining. with only one cat, my mom can walk into my house without having an asthma attack. my brother can walk into my house without itching all over. and kurt can stay at my place without having to puff on an inhaler.
you can always tell your friends that houdini went to live on a farm... that worked for me...

yeah but that would be lie. when you told us that Chase went to live on a farm, that was true. Right?!? :)
