I brought my goggles for the boys to play with. They loved how they looked like superheroes in them!
**I forgot to mention, Gavin was full of all sorts of interesting phrases and thoughts this weekend. (You all remember the question: Does God wear a cape?) Gavin and I were in our PJs, sitting on the sofa, Friday night when he crossed his arms around his chest and squeezed. He then looked up at me and said, "This is what it looks like when we hug God". How sweet is that? My heart just melted and I told him that God likes to be hugged.
A big thank you to Stacey for offering to drive all of us back to Chicago, last night. And a big thank you to Wendy's, for being located at every exit outside of Milwaukee. Woot!
Kick ass concert!! This was my third Black Keys show and they never disappoint! And, I love seeing shows with Adam! (Two shows in one week: Wilco and Black Keys. Not too shabby!!) :)
Indignant played an opening gig for The Black Keys last night, in Milwaukee. Rock on boys! And thank you so much for Sarah for rushing around so I could get my 'stand-up-only' pants!
A gang of us met up at The California Clipper to see Dan Whitaker and the Shinebenders. It was a long night that ended with me in a cowboy hat. Typical...
And after the show, Adam and I strolled State Street and took in all the beautiful Christmas decorations. We even stopped to see the Mary Poppins themed Macy's windows. The evening was magical...
Adam and I saw Wilco last night at the Auditorium Theater. The architecture and art of the building was stunning. The performance was also amazing (so much better than Lollapalooza). Too bad we were standing behind the 4 biggest dorks on the face of the planet.
