The Twisted Spoke

Last night, Sarah, Mandy, Andrea and I rocked it out on the roof of The Twisted Spoke for Masinter's birthday. The bar is known for its Saturday, midnight special of "Smut and Eggs", 70's porn on the tv and eggs on your plate. A big thanks goes out to Paddy, who saved us a $20 cab ride by driving us downtown. Thanks!!!

N 42

We figured the best way to beat the heat would be to play BINGO. So a group of us gathered at the Four Treys and played our heart out. Did I win? Nope. But I don't mind!

Paint by Number

Laine and Chris got to painting their villa, down in Texas. I heart the warm colors! And y'all know how much I love red. It looks beautiful, Laine! Now we just got to get some artwork on those ginormous walls. It's so difficult decorating such a large estate.
And Grace cracks me up. She just loves having her pic taken!

Haunted House

Andrea loaned me Season 1 of the show "House". I've been watching it non-stop for the past week. It's a really interesting show and I love the main character! I don't usually like sarcasm, but somehow he pulls it off.
The only down-side, the show gives me the strangest dreams. Last night I dreamt that I needed to have my side removed. The doctors were going to cut the side of my body off. No wonder why I'm tired today! (it could also be b/c i haven't had my morning cup of joe)

That hot date I had last night...not so hot. Josh - we're totally on the same wavelength. Some people just don't get it.

Temperature Control

A big thanks goes out to Dan who hauled my window air conditioner up three flights of stairs last night, into my apartment. Now my place is nice and cool. Thanks!!

Just in time too, cause I have a hot date tonight. I'll keep y'all posted on how that goes. :)

Kim cut my hair tonight and I love it!! She's been a student at The Aveda Institute for awhile now and she's really talented! When I came to her I said I was growing my hair out but needed some shape and she came up with this brilliant cut! Thanks, Kim!!

That Girl is Poison

Josh was in town on a press junket for "Talladega Nights". We were able to meet up for drinks last night at Mulligan's House. It was great hanging out with him again.

And I love that Josh is now flying around in private jets and getting helicopter rides back to his hotel and yet he buys an $8 velcro wallet, with a Cubs logo. The ladies will love that...

I know I am about a year late in seeing "The Squid and the Whale" but last night Sarah, Andrea and I finally sat down to watch it. Was it good? Yes. Would I buy it or ever watch it again? Prolly not.
