Good Things Come to Those Who Wait

Back in December, I started a mad, country-wide search for 8 Frosty Double Glasses. After calling every Crate Outlet store, in America, I found that the glasses were sold out. But my good friend Erica, who is the manager at the Outlet in Naperville, IL, promised to keep her eyes open for any returns. Over the past two months she has been able to gather up 8 glasses for me. And by now they are so inexpensive I got the lot of them for $2!!
They are all handblown and the glass is quite heavy! I am very excited to finally have my glasses. Thanks, Erica!!

Dinner is Served

Chef Kurt prepared a lovely meal for me on Saturday night. It consisted of Talapia with a lemon/garlic sauce, cheese risotta with sauteed mushrooms, steamed asparagus, with some chopped tomato on top. Delicious!

Here is a photo my mom emailed me. It's my family, back in 1981. Lance was just born, so he is off camera with my dad.

Houdini's New Home

On Friday night, Kurt and I took Houdini over to Hilary and Bob's place. Hilary then cooked a delicious dinner and I provided a sweet dessert. After a quick game of cribbage it was time to say goodbye to Houdini. I think she will be fine in her new home though.
