Giggling

One thing I love most about children is how often they laugh. (Angie taught Gavin how to use chopsticks. It took him forever to eat his mac and cheese.)

The Shedd

As a way of getting out of the rain, we decided to take a trip to the Shedd Aquarium. Gavin really liked the dolphins and whales. Max really liked the sharks.

Bummin' Around

We kept shelter at the hotel when the sky decided to open up and drop water. We didn't mind though!

Boat Tour

We took an architectual boat tour on Saturday. Chicago never looked so beautiful.

Aunt Bibby

I had visitors this weekend. :)

Free Tree

Did you know the city of Chicago gives away free trees? It's true. All you gotta do is just log onto this website: www.cityofchicago.org and do a search under the words "Public offered parkway trees" for all the instructions.
Basically, you can walk around and if you see a place/house/yard that has room for a tree, write down the address and then email it to City Hall. They will contact the person who lives in the place/house/yard and say "You want a tree? Cause we'll give you one for free. We'll even deliver it and plant it for you."

My friend, Michelle, has spent the past couple of weeks walking neighborhoods and writing down addresses. She emailed her list in and has had 34 trees planted. 34.

You can make a difference too.

Lean On Me

Has anyone else noticed that Matthew McConaughey likes to lean on women in his movie posters? I've noticed a theme and I would just like to offer up to him that he can lean on me anytime.
Seriously, anytime.

BSG Meets the Simpsons

Anyone else out there watch Battlestar Gallactica? It's frakin' awesome!

Wes' Bling

Lance came in town this weekend so he, Wes, D. and I hit up the bars in Lincoln Park. (I should mention this was prefaced with a few hours hanging out with Sadia at Moonshine. Saturday was a long day.)
It was a blast (too bad those guys from the Bachelor Party can't say the same thing) and I can't wait for Lance's next trip in!!

The Apartment
